Grubb House

"Its a lovely space, it has everything I want. The way the pond reflects light onto my dining room ceiling- I never would have thought to place the Koi pond so near the door. Genius."

                              - William Grubb, Homeowner

This small back back yard in Philadelphia's Queens Village neighborhood underwent a complete redesign by Garden Makers. The home owner had hoped to include a Koi Pond, seating area, garden , and grill area into a space only 15' by 15'- all of which were included in the final design, harmoniously connected by elements of irregular blue stone with flowering trees and shrubs such as Azalea and Sweet Bay Magnolia.

Kucas Residence

The ultimate expression of a landscape designer's personal vision is often best found on their own property. Such is the case with Garden Makers founder Bill Kucas and his personal 'urban eden' tucked within the historic Mill Hill section of Trenton. Filled with lovely sculpture, rare ornamental plants and brick facades dating back over a century, this garden seamlessly blends the past and present with exceptional detail and unique outdoor rooms all fitted into a space only 30 feet wide.
