With nearly 40 years of Landscape and Horticultural experience, Bill leads the Garden Makers team. His keen attention to detail, gracious persona, and dedication to his clients and their desires have earned him notoriety as a designer and placed Garden Makers among the premier landscape firms of the Princeton area. He has designed landscapes for hundreds of residential and commercial properties throughout the Delaware valley.
His horticultural interests and inspiration include Victorian Garden design, Japanese influenced Gardens, topiary, Bonsai and Native Species cultivation.
Bill is a 1979 graduate of Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Landscape Design with a concentration in Ornamental Horticulture.
He is an accredited Nurseryman of New Jersey, a licensed pesticide applicator with an extensive knowledge of plant pathology and diseases.
Ryan is a 2009 cum-laude graduate of Rutgers University Department of Landscape Architecture, and a winner of the American Society of Landscape Architects' Student Achievement award. He is an expert in computer based landscape graphics and modelling. Prior to working with Garden Makers he managed a research laboratory at Rutgers University to investigate contaminated soils and environmental restoration techniques.
He is an oil and water color painter, licensed U.S. Coastguard Captain, professional yachtsman, wood worker, and lover of the outdoors.
